South West housebuilder, Summerfield Homes, is pleased to hand over three new affordable homes to Somerset Council for local people in the County.
Summerfield Homes handed over two, two-bedroom detached coach houses and one two-bedroom end-of-terrace house at Carrots Farm to the award-winning Homes In Sedgemoor who manage more than 4,000 properties for the Council.
The homes, which are occupied for rent at less than 80% of the market value, come with solar PV panels, car charging points and two parking spaces each. The two detached coach houses have achieved an Energy Performance Certificate rating of A and the end terrace house a rating of B.
Situated on the edge of North Petherton, Carrots Farm comprises of just 20 new homes and has the advantage of local amenities close by. The development is within easy access to the towns of Bridgwater and Taunton and junction 24 of the M5 motorway.
